NE SD | I nailed it from 2010-2013 crops on selling my grain. I sold beans on 8-21-12 at 2ยข off the high for crying out loud. I'm going on three crops of paying for it dearly. Partly due to irrational emotion driven decisions, and partly by some badly timed weather.
I can see why guys say their wives or daughters are better at marketing because they aren't as emotionally involved. After a guy spends a couple thousand hours in the seat raising, harvesting, hauling, etc that grain, its hard not to have an emotional attachment. I am very good at raising crops, but my marketing really needs some work. | |
