Morris, IL | We had 200 bushel corn in 12' with sidedress NH3, we were very dry, not central illinois dry but very dry, had fields all the way down to 65, but most of our ground was 150-200 bushel just due to our soil types. Sidedress NH3 sticks around lot longer in these wet years which are way more normal then dry like 12', more tile would help i'll give you that. But you can have all the tile you want when you get 20"+ of rain in one month no system is going to handle that to limit N loss. Heck we had corn and soybeans underwater for days from creek rising that still did 200 on corn and 60 on beans. Different soils response differently to different practices.
