You make good points and I agree. On the other hand, there are fields around here that planes just simply can't get to because of trees, buildings, high lines, etc. What happens to the urea if it's spread on saturated soil? If it's too wet to spray with a ground rig, wouldn't some of the urea be lost if spread with a plane? Assuming wet ground and then missing the next rain. I've had that happen.
