Kingston,Mi | My take on why standing seam tends to use the bar style more is the absence of penetrations thru the flat portion of the sheet. The bars clamp to the folded standing seam. Using the Sno Jax with sealed screws would have you poking holes where the other system prevents penetrations. I believe that the Sno Jax system can be glued to the roof as an option. On a standing seam roof the bar does look good. | |
