Oskaloosa, Iowa 52577 | I understand that the shaft would have to be changed to accommodate the different physical size.....but I was thinking about a "button" so to speak, in the cab that would change the speed...revolutions..... Of the shaft, so that the engine RPMs would not have to be changed to accommodate the 540 vs 1000.
In that manner the engine would not, for example, have to be lugged down to accommodate 540.
Sounds like some of the smaller units have that capacity.
