If I remember correctly, trapazoid shoots farther out. The light bar is usually a combination of flood and spot, I've bought a couple dozen floods off eBay for less then $20 and 2 (14") light bars around $45. Work great and bright. The light bar is mounted on the front of my JD 4430, don't need any other forward light when baling hay.
What kind of lights do I need? LED flood or trapezoid?
