Subject: RE: No till corn row cleaners

If adjustable row cleaners from the cab are not in the budget, I would check out Precisions web site and see which ones are compatible with Clean sweep and narrow it down to those. C on C makes some of the tine cleaners more of a problem because of cobs and stalks plugging them up. I think if you do many acres of notill you will eventually want to be able to adjust as on the go. I understand budget. It took me five years to set up my planter the way I want it after I started c on c notill. Good luck with notill. I have seen the roads ditches filled with silt close to my BIL last spring with a couple of those 4" rains last spring. People replantinting because the corn was washed out. Ditches in the field down to were the field cultivator went. Sorry for the rant but that is my pet peeve. We only have so much top soil and it does not regenerate quickly.
My email is good if you have any more question. No expert by any means!
