Frytown, Iowa | I use martins. I really like their trash wheels. Mine are pin/fixed because I'm not rich (or maybe just cheap) though I can see where floating would be nice. But not enough to justify them in my opinion. I use them for notill corn on corn and corn on soy and for my soybeans on corn stubble as well. They work really good. They adjust really easy, and I bought mine used here on agtalk.
I also have martin spike closing wheels which work ok. I think they do a really good job in dryer, black soils... But clay or wet soils tend to just get holes poked in the mud. I think I'd like to try another closing wheel, maybe Thompson closing wheels. | |
