SW Minnesota | I disagree. Just starting with one this year. Had a bad experience with 4.5 oz of authority first (ppo) followed by 6 oz of marvel (ppo) certain soils and certain bean varieties did not like it. Guys we hired would of never let us push ppo group that hard and has much wider knowledge of which beans and soils respond poorly. Only takes 1/2 busher of beans to pay for him and I am certain we lost all of that. Add in doing all your vrt, prescriptions, scouting, independent hybrid knowledge and selection and I see a lot of value. Nice having your fertility with an idependent so you are free to price shop. | |
