Huntley Montana | With 3500 irrigated acres Hay, corn, Malt barley, scattered over 120 miles I have nothing better to do than scout fields weekly? I'm not a 4x4 farmer in the Midwest. When Haying/Harvesting 100- 120 hour weeks is the norm. My money is made working on the crops, not looking at them. When your backside is dragging, scouting is not high on the "to do" list. I need someone to "put boots in the field" that I can not grab for other jobs. If I could find people that understood & cared about what it takes to put up quality hay without my shadow being there that would help. |
