Dearfield Co. | LOL-------------this is what the new USDA inspectors let pass. We hauled 24 totes from them to another fly by night packaging company that had sprouts in all of the totes. When the inspector checked them in the receivers were nervous but they let them pass . I asked when was it acceptable to have sprouted beans and the inspector replied she didn't see any sprouts. This particular place packages for schools and food banks. Welcome to the US and the new budget which sub contracts the inspections. Our food safety is screwed and it will only get worse.. My guess is these beans originated out of the Allinace NE area since that was where we found them. | |
