Subject: Rye for grain???

NE Iowa
Thinking about growing a little bit of oats again next year mostly for creep feeding calves. I plant winter rye for cover crop and early spring grazing. Considering leaving a little rye ungrazed and combining it for seed. How does the harvest date of rye compare to an early maturity oat? We normally can combine oats around July 20th here in NE Iowa. I assume rye matures earlier but how much? A week?
