We used to plant the 32-35k and 180-220 units, but then 1 must ask them self. Self, do you want to make the most bushels or the most money. SO we like the money and plant 28k-32k with a good flex ear with 160 and plant plots with 33-35 with 180-220 units. Combine yeild monitors and scales don't care what you plant they tell you the outcome. ROI is better at 28-32k. That is strictly a here and my operation thing though. This would probably be the outcome in black dirt country.
