YES, from mid 2009 til February of 2011, this was the hay days of the spec money buying corn. Much more so buying ANY commodity. The sad part EVERY rally since, EVEN THE DROUGHT RALLY, was lead by short covering in corn***** Corn has totally lost its shine in the speculators eyes.
IMO we will be looking back at this for many years to come, remember the "old hay days" of 2010 early 2011*****
Again, IMVSO this could have been said in 1975*****
I've said this before and will say this again,,, if you want $5 corn, we need a pile of spec money NET NEW BUYING. | |
