Subject: RE: Abengoa news story

USA
Sat,

Don't know about any other Abengoa plants, but the one @ Madison, IL (STL, MO) doesn't buy direct from farmers. Since Abengoa doesn't hold an IL grain dealers license it is prohibited from buying corn direct from farmers. Have to broker corn through a licensed grain dealer when hauling corn there.

There was problems back in July- Aug when outfits like ADM , CGB, and Scoular would not deal with Abengoa because of how far behind Abengoa was on paying for corn. This fall all three were dealing with Abengoa again.

My comment on Abengoa, if all plants are operated like the one @ STL, can't see how they survived this long.
