Subject: Tillage in semi frozen ground

Have some ground that varies from sandy to a heavy clay that I had intentions of getting the disking done this fall. Well the weather hasent worked the best and have been getting a fair amount of rain and now colder temps. I have seen it mentioned on here about catching it on the way down. I.e. Hitting it while it is partially froze. Have a wishiek disc not a ripper. Would it work well with the ground pretty wet under the froze crust ? Tillage in fall is much preferred to anything in spring. Would you do it as long as it wasent balling up the implement? Thanks
