| Muttboy not starting a political war here but you asked why.
The best way I can explain is this. I have been driving an automobile for 40 years and have never had an accident. With that being said I still carry good auto insurance all the time not just when I think I might get into an accident. I do not carry a gun with the intention of using it but rather hoping I never have to. I could not live with myself if I let something happen to someone I love because I was not prepared to protect them to the best of my ability.
I will even go so far as to abide by your wishes and promise I will not use my weapon to defend you or yours if you feel so strongly on the subject.
I mean no disrespect in the above statement but the first thing an anti-gun athiest does when faced with an attacker is to pray to God for someone with a gun to protect them. | |
