I just thought of norther idea. Is there anyway you could slide in a stainless steel flue liner. That would probably be the easiest you could just slide the liner in the old flue
+1. If I was doing it and couldn't reline the existing chimney, I would do away with concrete, brick and mortar entirely. Then I would start out new from scratch with stainless steel. |
