My thought was never fold your socks. And always buy the exact same ones then who cares since they all match. But i never throw a sock away unless more the one toe goes through a hole while putting on or wearing.

My main reason for not folding or pairing socks by folding the top over is it stretches them out and they don't last as long.

Also my wife does most of the laundry buy her idea of putting cloths away is. After they are washed put them in basket and remove from basket when needed. When basket is empty take the pile next to it and put it in the basket to wash. Repeat when needed. I thing now she has nine baskets around the house. But i done complain since the clothes are clean.
