Do you have the material or do you have to buy it? If you have to buy it go ahead and get high tinsel wire and composit post from Kencove. Get the daisies for tighting instead of the ratchets too. They are faster.
The deer will go through this fence but not knock it down or break it.
I put the top strand even with the top of my pocket, I'm 6.0'.
I've started doing a 2nd wire and it really helps but you can do one and if you have trouble come back with the second.
I use 2" metal post for corners and turns. Still have some wooden post too but as they break I don't replace with wood.
I put my composit post 25 steps apart. Roughly 75' feet for me but some of the guys can't count to 25 so they end up at all sorts of spacing.
