In my area earworms are a problem. We rotate our fields and don't really benefit from the rootworm gene, but having earworm control can save us a few bushels plus it helps keep the aflatoxin fungus from having a place to get started. Everyone has to decide what works best for their operation. I like having the option to choose traited or non-traited for my farm.
