KS | If the seed you are planting came from a field that had Fusarium head blight this last year then I would advise treating your seed as scab can affect the germ. However if you are worried about new scab infection this crop year then a seed treatment wouldn't do you any good. Would have to treat with Prosaro or Caramba at flowering. Planting a variety like Everest that has some tolerance to scab will also help when you are planting into corn stalks.
