Northwest Missouri | My uncle did that to a neighbor that tried to claim ownership of 10 acres that was cut off from the rest of his farm by a river. Took the guy to court and they forced him to grant him an easement. Don't think it became a public right of way though. My uncle had to give the guy fair compensation for it, no idea how much that was. Ended up spending a lot to get it all done, but the guy was such a jerk he didn't care what it cost. | |
