I agree. There needs to be a lot more training in high school on basic finances, especially on the concept of borrowed money. So many people have no idea how a loan works, how interest is calculated, how much an item really costs that you borrowed money to buy when you add all the interest paid to the principal, how the repayment of a home loan is done, how prepayment against the principal works, etc. Throughout life, all too many people get in such terrible financial situations, often because of their lack of understanding of borrowed money.
