Montana | I could have gotten it with common sence in 2012 and it can continue with that but if you wanted to start that in 2014, you had to have all tanks with wide open tops. The fool who made the rule needs to be removed from the NRCS planning. There are so many stupid stipulations in the new enhancements. We have ponds and streams but the water often gets warm and murky in them , so I have developed water to stock tanks. Fresh cool clean water is very important to Cattle. Many tanks have partial covers to keep them from freezing in the winter. I have little houses built over some.
