east central ND | So how long are the "investors" going to hold on to the high priced land they bought the last few years. I can see some one stepping up to the plate, betting on higher prices, and paying the higher rents that the investor needs to make his % return for the next year or two. But if crop prices stay down, when do they decide to pull the plug or stick it out until the next run up in 20 years? If investor lands start hitting the market in a year or two, that's when I think land prices will seriously drop off. | |
