North Dakota | Explain to me how a elevator taking in 1 million bushel of spring wheat keeps bills of lading for each load, then puts it in piles and in condo units, then mixes different lots for protein and damage levels, then loads separate train cars is able to provide bills of lading on their end for where it came from? We HAVE to start banding together and require compensation for the extra time and labor cost for these activities. When I haul a load of grain to the elevator I have to pay to have it tested. Should be compensated in some way for these requirements on our end, or are we gonna keep whimping out until we are driven further into the ground economically. | |
