franksville wi | Our ethanol plant is requiring that all trucks must start signing a release before dumping corn. FSMA (Food safety initiatives act) is the federal government stepping in and saying you better start being able to trace back where the product you are delivering came from. Bills of lading are going to be coming soon that you will need to put what bin or field you are delivering from. ( you will need to be able to trace product in bins back to fields)
The syngenta lawsuit post below made me realize that this is going to be the perfect point for big Government. Farmers want to plant this and not keep track of it and now the democrats can say these farmers need more regulation. Sometimes we make our beds sometimes others make it for us but things are going to get so much more fun.
