I agree with this, rest home pasture and or use for fall/winter grazing. Save back heifers. Build within.
In 2013 had chance to rent one June 1, stocked it within a week, with fall calvers, wasn't totally in love with what I bought as far as quality and temperament so sold them in December, held money together. Bred 30 heifers the next year, got a great set of pairs this summer.
