Hmmm Not sure I want to be the nagging voice in your head keeping you from foods you enjoy. LOL I miss the Potatoes too but were told they are almost as bad as table sugar in terms of glucose release rates! I don't really miss the breads too much anymore still miss the sweets though. Eliminating carbs and sugars has been the key for me. Other than needing strong willpower and the ability to not be tempted it has been so simple for me to accomplish. Don't mean to infer it's ideal or will work for everyone but I too was so skeptical at first and have been so impressed with the results that I wanted to share with others. The key will be to keep the discipline up but I think one can reward themselves with a treat as long as it's more like a once a week or every other week not every day. Tonight was a reward night for a nice big thin crust pizza. Good luck to everyone ! |
