Loosen your belt. As I got older I too had the same trouble, also grew a nice round belly. Discovered if I loosen my belt I wake up almost instantly. Guess it cuts off the blood supply to the brain. See a lot of older truck drivers wearing bib overalls. I wear suspenders a lot now
