Red River Valley | this huge drop you are so fixated on, well 3.1 mb went into products ( can you say refinery back on line ) add to that the fact that we Imported 839,000 barrels a day less crude by 7 days is (holy crap ) that is 5.8MB a week more than your huge drop in stocks of crude.
Lets do the math for all
5.5 million drop in crude less 3.1 build in products = 2.4 million barrel drop in supply all products add in the 5.8 million barrel drop in exports and we have a none imported products build for the week of 3.4 Million barrels.
So John were did the extra 3.4 million barrels of product come from.
Maybe eia's Modeling is incorrect and they are under shooting actual production in the US by 3.4 million barrels a day - possibly they are over stating demand by that amount the only thing the math says is that if we would have imported what we did the week before we would have had a 3.4MB jump in stockpiles.
revisions to production numbers forth coming ?????
would make sense with what ND tax collections seem to be saying
