We do quite a bit of it. We try to start as soon as it will combine clean. And no 40% corn won't.

Think of it as a poor mans steam flaker.


Premium paid at Kansas feedlots-test after test -plus 35% moisture -they feed a lot of cattle-we started at milk line combining-and they are rite=Would have not believed it till I did it-not to bad when you use a 6 row on 12 row combine-if they see any dust they stop grinding-they were takin in 20,0000 bu a hour around the clock for 10 days

I have some in the pit feeder-its been 4 years since I hit the back of the pit of my wet corn-I know I'm a small feeder-but big feeder results work on small scale also
