We do quite a bit of it. We try to start as soon as it will combine clean. And no 40% corn won't. Run it thru a modified haybuster grinder. Do free standing piles and into bunkers. 24-25 is as low as it works real good. But can be done lower. Not ideal. It's a finishing tool. Not a backgrounding feed.

Think of it as a poor mans steam flaker.
