"Here" when a crop is bypassed crop insurance and processor get together and payout to the grower based on the growers average. I would think it works similar in the US, although the CI component may differ. I believe, "here" you might be permitted to sell a bypassed crop , IF its released by processor, but any proceeds you get are deducted from the 'by pass' claim paid out by processor/CI. At least that's my understanding. |
