I am seriously considering the LL soybean system for 2016. Palmer has been awful this year. I have pulled weeds every day since the 4th of July, and they have finally overcome me. I used Sharpen, Dual and Roundup for a burndown right in front of the planter, then at the 3rd tri foliate ran Prefix. We still have breakthroughs.
I believe in pres.... still plan on using them, but don't want to use the PPO in prefix. What does it cost to grow an acre of LL beans? I usually plant 140,000 if the germ is 90 or better. I will try to keep a pre active till beans shade out in 19" row. Just assume I will have to spray Liberty twice.

EDIT:::::: I also had 5 oz Sencore in my burndown.... I knew there was something else...

This is a 'here' breakdown

$52 a unit for treated LibertyLink seed for 2014.
$25 dollars an acre in AuthorityFirst/2-4-D/powermax pre emerge
$20/ acre in 32oz Liberty post, all before rebates

Roundup beans
$60 a unit for treated beans
$25 an acre for the same pre mentioned above
$40 an acre for multiple chemicals and still have weeds that don't die.
