We've been too underequipped for our acreage to have the spare time for running a tile plow.  How's that for a Catch-22?

I'm about ready to give up farms that are too far away or owned by somebody who isn't willing to invest in improvements and concentrate on the stuff with the most potential.  This idea that you have to cover xxxx amount of acres to justify machinery leads to a lot of work for little reward, and I don't like it.
