Tenn Valley | For right now - cotton is looking good But, there is still 6 weeks left to mature the crop in the Tenn Valley. Last year was an exceptional crop so I doubt this crop will match last years. Cotton fields are clean after aggressive herbicide programs. It's paid off. Extend cotton looks good - ?? will be what will the technology cost. Yields of the 15 series vs Phy 499, 339, & 333 will give an indication of what we'll plant. If there's a 60 lb yield penalty to Extend, we'll use enhanced herbicide programs. With our warmer temps this summer & some moisture in the ground, our cotton will finish strong. | |
