Ours will read for example:  40,000lbs when dumping at the end of a field with no movement, 40,440 after pulling ahead 10' and stopping and 40,160 after stopping at the truck to load.  Lots of variation, for you it must be averaging out good by the end of the day.  Not much one can do about it.
