What size tubing are you using. Our 4500 has 7" steel tubing but we had a 6" rubber clean up hose. When we put that 6" on it cut capacity by quite a bit. We have since bought a 7" hose and it works much faster. I assume you lifted the lid to make sure the screens were not plugged or have a rag or something in them.
