| We have upgraded to a 2388 with field tracker for this fall and I have a question about the drives on a corn head. We harvest a neighbors corn who is on 36" rows (we are on 30's) using his 1064 head. It does not have the new style drives on it for the tracker. My question is can you manually lock out the tracker by removing a fuse or unhooking a wire from a switch etc. without disabling any other electrical items and use the old style rigid drive system on his head without any danger of damage. He has only a couple days of corn and hate to spend a lot of money converting his head for just a few acres. | |
