southern MN | Here are some pics I took today. Like I say, I do it different, so it get really big tubers with the kraut cut off during swathing, the kraut grows back now.
If you plant now, you will get more of the kraut for them to graze.
There is clover and alfalfa in the mix as well, tho it is very sparse this year. If we catch a rain, a lot of oats regrows as well.
