Are you sure about switching feed rations on a daily basis...diets is consistant program....big swings in price wheat and ddgs can be changed over time but with the swing we had not sure bout the switch..
Maybe a big feeder can comment more.
Feed companies run a least cost computer ration program and it does change often but not big swings as it limits ingredient changes too around 5% a week ,like Pat said soy & corn is premium swine feed but wheat,barley,canola,ddg's, wheat shorts,peas,lentils, bakery meal, white fat, ect. works too |
No life left in old crop, don't be so sure.
