NW Montana | i would agree if its an attached structure it should have a frost walls.
I would also agree if your going to install a pier foundation it should be isolated from the pad.
The above exa,ple of bleachers would have been better designed without the piers.
Their is nothing wrong with a properly designed and applied floating slab. Guys think they need to improve them but that often leads to failure.
