All the guys above me are on the right track but here is one more point that pays dividends. Do not plant after corn. Corn has similar disease pressures but can fight it better and there is no sense in trying to counteract those pressures. Best crop to follow is roundup ready soys as there is no chemical carryover plus you get a bit of free N. Absolute best is alfalfa but you can lay me down pretty easy on that high N level soil .
