Do some brands of lawn mowers clog underneath more than others?

You can take the side discharge shoot off to help it and mow more often to have less clippings.

How low do you mow? Too low can cause issues.

Also are your blades sharp?

I'm really happy with the gravely I've got a cheap zd2760hd, we have some issues that were mainly self inflicted but I mow road banks and along the plots and places a brush cutter should.

I use a bungee cord to tie up the plastic chute and removed the bar so the chute is wide open. I try and cut about 2 in. or so. And I hook the front of the mower to a chain hoist in the shop and raise it up to take the blades off and sharpen them. I guess most mowers are all the same, otherwise I love the mower.
