A bit askew, but I'll share a drinking anecdote about my dad. He very seldom drank. We didn't have beer around the house when I was a kid. But he did like gin & squirt once in a great while on a hot day. Mom mixed them up for him. We were getting ready to bale hay, and I was sent up to the other place to get our elevator. Dad sat down in the yard to wait for me. Decided he wanted his little 'refresher'. Problem was, Mom wasn't there, so he had to mix it himself. Guess he got a little happy with the gin, because when I got back with the elevator, he was laughing about it on the lawn. Had to get that long elevator thru a narrow door and down an alley into the barn by myself while he just sat and laughed at me. Guess that was the day I figured out my dad was human...
