just a tish NE of central ND | A lot less heavy drinkers /overdrinking farming folks here now that there was 40 years back from what I can see. But what happens at home is something none of us can see. Our ditches were loaded with beer cans and bottles as well 40 years ago and that is now just about the ting of the past, and is replaced with a lot of other kinds of trash.
I never could see how anyone could stand to function not being in total control of their body and mind all day long while working. Judgement impairment is dangerous in a work place or anyplace.
My uncle still talks of is older cousin that came in from morning milking for breakfast before the sun came up and had eggs, bacon and his first beer or two for the day every morning. .
