Douglass Kansas | I have seen the same thing, corn was 10' tall and about to tassel out when it flooded, and if water went over the spot where the ear would form there was no ear. Where it stayed below this point the corn was making around 130 bu/acre with ears that were 6' high. I always try to plant a variety with a high ear on fields where the water can get really deep. | |
