Subject: RE: Cover Crop Thought for PP ground

Mid Michigan
I always wondered about using some feed corn from TSC in a drill for a cover crop. I know it would look ridiculous to have it planted that close together but I always though it would be a really cheap way to make some ground cover for the rest of the year. Also was thinking about black oiler sunflowers because you can buy a huge bag of them from the farm center really cheap and they grow really fast and cover the ground very well. I've done the sunflowers before and it worked very well.
